Pretty excited to say that I have moved my domain from Kriegsnet.com to Kriegs.net just in time for 2012. I’ve been debating moving to this new domain for quite sometime. Originally when I bought kriegsnet.com, it was well before I got into web design and digital art. I primarily used it for posting funny images and sketches. I figured, if I got bored of that I could always turn it into a site for web hosting / computer repair. A business site. 

But the web design / digital art stuff took off for me and 10+ years later, I still was using the domain. I built up a lot of traffic / seo / etc on the domain so changing it was rather scary sounding. But then last year I pondered over new domain names and after tossing around a few options I settled on Kriegs.net, which seemed like the obvious answer.

I’ll still keep the old site around so old links can find the new home. Plus I still need to copy over all the old content (may take awhile). But I setup a temp layout just to get the process started. 

You’ll also find my new January wallpaper release. From now on, I’ll be posting monthly wallpapers that feature calendar dates on them. After the month is up, I’ll be removing the dated options. After some thinking, it just seems silly to keep the dated versions. You’ll also find that I’m now going to offer all wallpapers at a 2560x1440 resolution. They seem to be doing well on dsktps, so why not.
